The Assist app is a tool for creating templates that the Classify Your Documents activity can use to identify common forms and extract information from them. In the app, you can upload a base file for the template, draw zones on the image, and assign interactions to those zones to classify documents or populate index values.
NOTE: Before going forward, ensure you have followed the instructions to Install Assist.

Templates can have an associated content type, which you can assign either when you create the template, or within the template builder. Assigning a content type allows you to use the content type’s properties when populating metadata.
When you assign a content type, you can also set static metadata in the document. This is useful if documents that match the template will always have a particular value for certain properties.
Zones in an Assist template can be either identification zones or OCR zones.
