Setting up permissions for your end-users should be quite straight forward. There will be two types of permissions you will want to keep in mind:
- Apps Permissions
- Indexing Permissions
Apps Permissions will relate to what your users can access and the actions they can perform inside of the Capture Server Pro site. This will include things like having access to an App on the home page, whether they can view or edit batches, and Access to view logs.
These will be edited in the Configuration App using the following articles as reference:
- First, you will need to add your users and groups using the Catalogs Page
- Then, you will be able to edit their permissions in the Permissions Page
The second area you will want to manage access is your index panel. Some users shouldn't have access to index as certain content types, so you can add and remove content types per user and group in the Connections App using the following article:
