Home Tab User Interface
Button |
Description |
Click the Scan button to start scanning pages into the batch. If Page Count Separation is configured, click the Expand () button to select a number of pages to scan per document. |

Click the Import button to select a file or files to import as pages into the batch. |
|

Click the New Document button or the Current Document button to switch between adding scanned or imported pages to a new document or the current document. |
The Insert button creates a new document in the location selected in the Batch Panel. |

The Insert As button creates a new document of the selected content type in the location selected in the Batch Panel. |
|
The Complete button closes the batch and sends it to Capture Server to be processed. |
|
The Close button closes the batch. |
|
The Manage button opens the Batch Managerwindow. |
|
The Copy button copies the selected document or pages. |
|
The Cut button cuts the selected document or pages. |
|
The Paste button pastes the copied or cut document or pages to the selected location in the batch. |
|
The Delete button deletes the selected document or pages. |
|
The Rotate Left button rotates the selected pages 90º to the left. |
|
The Rotate Right button rotates the selected pages 90º to the right. |
|
The Rotate 180º button flips the selected pages 180º. |

The Lock Field button locks the selected field across each document in the batch as you continue to index them. The Unlock Field button unlocks the selected field across all documents in the batch. |
The Hotkey List button opens the list of keyboard shortcuts in the Index app. |

The Guide button opens the Index Guide in the Documentation app. |

The Fit Height button adjusts the zoom level to fit the page's height. | |
The Fit Width button adjusts the zoom level to fit the page's width. | |
The Best Fit button adjusts the zoom level to fit the entire page. | |
The Zoom In button adjusts the zoom level by +10%. | |
The Zoom Out button adjusts the zoom level by -10%. |
Settings Tab User Interface

Click the Configure Scanner button to choose a scanner. If you are scanning without a profile, you can also configure additional scanner settings. |

Click the Barcode Detection button to configure barcodes to identify during scanning. Configured barcodes are available to use for separation, population, and page removal. |

Click the Separation Settings button to configure document separation. |
|
Click the Population Settings button to configure metadata population from barcode values. | |
Click the Page Removal Settings button to configure automatic removal of pages that contain detected barcodes. |
