Below are instructions on configuring settings in the Scan Profile wizard in the Scanner Settings dialog.
Scanner Settings
On the Configure Your Scan Settings window, you can configure your scan settings, and then click Save
- Configure the scan settings.
For detailed information about the default scan settings, refer to the following table.
Scan Setting |
Description |
Color Mode |
Select Black and White for pages that have no color or shading. Select Grayscale for pages that have shading. Select Color for images that contain color. |
Page Orientation |
Select Portrait for vertically-oriented pages. Select Landscape for horizontally-oriented pages. |
Paper Size |
Select the appropriate paper size for the scanned pages, or select Auto to automatically detect the page size. |
Scan Type |
Select Simplex for single-sided pages. Select Duplex for double-sided pages. |
Resolution |
Select the scanning resolution in dots per inch (DPI). |
- Select Open Driver Dialog if you want to open the scanner’s driver dialog every time you click the Scan button, or select Use Configured Settings if you want to use the configured scan settings.
