Scan profiles define reusable settings for scanning documents. Profiles can be configured for either the user who configures it, or shared among specified users and groups.

Create a New Profile
- Open the Capture Server Home page, usually at http://servername:7210.
- Click the Scan
- On the Scan page, click Manage Profiles.
The Profile Manager window will open.
- If there are no configured profiles, the Configure Your Profile wizard will open automatically, otherwise, click Create Profile. The Configure Your Profile wizard will open.
- On the Configure Your Profile page, name the profile, select a process to send batches to, and choose whether you want to share the profile, and then click Next.
- In the Profile Name box, type a descriptive and unique name for the profile.
- In the Scan to Process list, select the process that you want to send scanned batches to.
- Select Share This Profile to select users and groups to share the profile with, or select Do Not Share This Profile to restrict this profile only to the user who configured it.
NOTE: If you selected Share This Profile, the Share Your Profile page will open.
- If you selected Share This Profile, type the users and groups that you want to share the profile with, and then click Next.
- On the Choose Your Profile Settings page, choose a profile type, configure any additional profile settings, and then click Save.

- When you have finished configuring your profile settings, click Save.
Edit an Existing Profile
- Open the Capture Server Home page, usually at http://servername:7210.
- Click the Scan
- On the Scan page, click Manage Profiles. The Profile Manager window will open.
- Select the profile that you want to edit, and then click Create Profile. The Configure Your Profile wizard will open.
- On the Configure Your Profile page, name the profile, select a process to send batches to, and choose whether you want to share the profile, and then click Next.
- In the Profile Name box, type a descriptive and unique name for the profile.
- In the Scan to Process list, select the process that you want to send scanned batches to.
- Select Share This Profile to select users and groups to share the profile with, or select Do Not Share This Profile to restrict this profile only to the user who configured it.
NOTE: If you selected Share This Profile, the Share Your Profile page will open.
- If you selected Share This Profile, type the users and groups that you want to share the profile with, and then click Next,
- On the Choose Your Profile Settings page, choose a profile type, configure any additional profile settings, and then click Save.
- When you have finished configuring your profile settings, click Save.
Copy a Profile
- Open the Capture Server Home page, usually at http://servername:7210.
- Click the Scan
- On the Scan page, click Manage Profiles. The Profile Manager window will open.
- Select the profile that you want to copy, and then click Copy Profile.
Delete a Profile
- Open the Capture Server Home page, usually at http://servername:7210.
- Click the Scan
- On the Scan page, click Manage Profiles. The Profile Manager window will open.
- Select the profile that you want to delete, and then click Delete Profile. A confirmation window will open.
- In the Delete Profile window, click Confirm.
