Cache paths are network folders where documents are stored as they are being processed. You can add additional cache paths as needed. Ensure the Processing Service’s service account for each worker machine has the Read, Write, and Modify permissions on all of your cache folders.
Add a Cache Path
- Open the Configuration app's Processing
- Click Show Advanced Options to reveal the tabs for the advanced options.
- On the Cache Paths tab, click Add a Cache Path.
- On the Add a Cache Path wizard’s Welcome page, click Next Page.
- On the Cache Paths page, configure the new cache.
- In the Cache Name box, type a display name for the cache path.
- In the Cache Root box, type the UNC path to the cache’s top-level folder.
- In the Date Foldering section, select all of the units of time that you want to create subfolders for.
- When you have finished configuring the new cache path, click Save Settings.
Edit a Cache Path
- Open the Configuration app's Processing
- Click Show Advanced Options to reveal the tabs for the advanced options.
- On the Cache Paths tab, click the Edit button () next to the cache path that you want to edit.
- On the Edit a Cache Path window, reconfigure the cache.
- In the Cache Name box, type a display name for the cache path.
- In the Cache Root box, type the UNC path to the cache’s top-level folder.
- In the Date Foldering section, select all of the units of time that you want to create subfolders for.
- When you have finished reconfiguring the cache path, click Save Settings.
Remove a Cache Path
- Open the Configuration app's Processing
- Click Show Advanced Options to reveal the tabs for the advanced options.
- On the Cache Paths tab, click the Remove button () next to the cache path that you want to remove.
- On the Delete Cache Path window, click Confirm.
