Capture Server Pro - Send to Folder

The Send To Folder activity sends batches that have completed processing to a local or network folder. With the Send To Folder wizard, you can choose which folder to send batches to, whether to include the batch’s metadata, and whether to place the batches into folders based on their upload time.

Configure Send to Folder

1. On the Send To Folder wizard’s Welcome page, click Next Page.
2. On the Foldering page, type the path to the destination folder in the Folder Path
3. If you want to include the metadata from the batch and its documents in XML files, select Include Metadata, otherwise select No Metadata.
4. If you want to place batches into folders based on the time when they were uploaded to the destination folder, select Use foldering options and then select whether you want to include a folder for the Month, Day, and Hour, otherwise select No Foldering.
5. Click Save Settings.

NOTE: Send to Folder is mainly used to export batches to be monitored by a third party system. If you are wanting to use the file system as a repository, we recommend adding the location as a File System Destination to allow for more complex configuration.
