Capture Server Pro - Convert to Searchable PDF

The Convert To Searchable PDF activity converts files into the PDF format, with searchable text. With the Convert To Searchable PDF wizard, you can configure OCR settings, customize the PDF generation process, set PDF properties, and enable encryption.

Configure Convert to Searchable PDF

1. On the Convert To Searchable PDF wizard’s Welcome page, click Next Page.
2. On the Settings page, configure the general searchable PDF settings, and then click Next Page.
3. On the Document Properties page, specify any properties to populate in the PDF, and then click Next Page.
   
   NOTE: If you enable Generate PDF/A, KnowledgeLake will generate a pdf with a format of PDF/A-2b
   
   
4. On the Encryptionpage, if you want to encrypt the PDF files, select Enable Encryption, and then configure the encryption settings.
5. When you have finished configuring the encryption settings, click Save Settings.
6. On the Encryption page, if you want to encrypt the PDF files, select Enable Encryption, and then configure the encryption settings.
7. When you have finished configuring the encryption settings, click Save Settings.
