Issue
If you have converted your on-premise CS Pro site to SSL, Scan may experience issues following August 15th, 2023 due to the KnowledgeLake Scan Desktop Client's certificate configuration.
If your CS Pro site has not been converted to SSL you will likely not be impacted by this issue.
Resolution
Upgrade to CS Pro 1.11
For clients that are on CS Pro 1.11 without any updates, or clients that are willing to upgrade to CS Pro 1.11, please contact support to obtain a product update that resolves this issue by supplying a new KnowledgeLake Desktop Scan Client.
Change SSL Configuration
For clients who are not able to upgrade, or are looking for a quicker solution, you can change your Scan Configuration to not rely on SSL for communication.
The following will need to be done on all workstations that are using the Scan feature in Capture Server Pro.
- Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\KnowledgeLake\Desktop Client\KnowledgeLake
- Locate the file: WebCapture.WPF.exe.config and open the file in Notepad.
- Change this line:
<add key="UseSSL" value="true"></add>
to
<add key="UseSSL" value="false"></add>
If needed, please contact KnowledgeLake Support for assistance with this matter.

I am on CS Pro 1.11 without any updates but the workaround did not work on my workstation.
Kyle,
I am going to go ahead and create a ticket from your response to this article. I believe the support team is working to get a hotfixed version for those still experiencing issues.
